Vinyasa: This class is upbeat, creative, and all about seamlessly linking breath and movement. Vinyasa will keep you focused as you learn to move gracefully in and out of postures, build confidence, and help you stay present and centered. Flowing around the obstacles that come your way, this energetic practice will empower you with the strength to face anything. Vinyasa flow focuses on alignment and creates safe space to play with movement and body awareness. Focusing on foundations, our vinyasa flow will help build strength, endurance, flexibility, and connection to self. This class is a great work out and work in! Modifications offered to ensure that your body/mind gets what it needs and wants. All levels.
Power Vinyasa: This energizing, powerful practice creates a flowing, fast paced series of postures. Vinyasa links breath to movement and will create internal heat as you increase flexibility, strength, and balance. Power Vinyasa will take you through a challenging, sweaty sequence emphasizing fluid movement to strengthen the body, build confidence, and calm the mind. Moderate yoga knowledge is requested! Chakra Flow: This vinyasa flow class focuses on grounding and connecting to yourself and your path. This class builds sequences focused on the chakras, the energy centers in our body. Gentle Yoga: Gentle is great for beginners and even better for advanced yogis. This class focuses on breath and body awareness with alignment but essentially it just feels good! Gentle yoga increases flexibility, mobility, and circulation. This class will reduce stress in your body and in your mind. Move slow in a gentle way and feel amazing. All levels.
Mindful Flow: This class moves slow and focuses on mindful alignment, breath, movement. Great way to get into your body, to release the stress of your day in a fun, playful way. All levels.
Shakti Flow: This vinyasa style class is designed to center mind and spirit, while building strength, balance, and flexibility. This empowering, vibrant flow is sure to get your energy moving through interesting and dynamic sequences with creative transitions. This class is developed and sequenced to build you to a peak posture using alignment and deep foundations to ignite fire within you. All levels.
Yang Yoga: This energizing class creates strength, flexibility, and balance with mindful muscular engagement and attention to alignment. Move with the flow of your breath and cultivate your power from the inside out. Yang Yoga is an empowering way to start your Saturday. All levels.
Yin Yoga: This class works on connective tissue and the energetic body. Yin Yoga is a more passive approach of practice that moves into stillness. In this class postures are held for longer times to facilitate deep release in the bones, ligaments, joints, and fascia. Yin works on clearing the channels to allow vital energy to move effective and efficiently. Yin restores balance to our fast paced life, and cultivates a peaceful state of being. All levels.
Tantra Yoga: Tantra Flow is a dance between Yin and Yang, and the Shakti and Shiva within. It comes from Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Taoist, and Kundalini practices. Tantra Flow combines sensual flowing movements with dynamic strengthening based asana, all the while honoring the body and building core strength. Feel good, connect to the energy you are made of and tap into your infinite well of pure potentiality. Suitable for all levels, both novice and experienced yogis and yoginis are welcome.
Mythic Yoga Flow: This is a soulful journey to ignite magic in your body, mind, and heart with the stories and practices of yoga. Learn the myths and legends of warriors, deities, sages, animals, heroes and heroines of the yoga tradition. In this mythic, poetic experience, yoga asana is activated and enlivened with myth, mantra, mudras, music, meditation, and the realms of inner magic. This is a vinyasa styled flow with modifications offered. All levels!
Bowspring: Bowspring is an answer to the modern postural alignment of the C curve of the spine, (think sitting in a chair and texting!) Bowspring is an invitation to regain the natural curves of the spine, getting taller, longer, lighter and healthier as we adopt the playful, light movement our bodies were made to inhabit. Learn to engage tensile strength in all parts of your body using an isometric push/pull both inside and out which expands and reveals you to yourself. Once you've cultivated strength in this subtle manner, you move in a way that supports joints, decompresses the spine and calms the nervous system. This is a practice that supports your life and health. Appropriate for all levels.
Sundara: This flow is an energizing Vinyasa style class. Sundara, meaning self love in Sanskrit, is a way to show yourself compassion and sweetness with both strengthening and softening. Charlotte is influenced by her love of traditional Hatha as well as the transformational study of Bowspring. You may look forward to something new every class and a solid 15 minutes to wind down into savasana. All levels are welcome!
